In 2018, the Annual Meeting of Rehabilitation Branch of Chinese Ethnic Medicine Association, the Summit Forum on Rehabilitation Development and Innovation of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine and the Seminar on Popularization of New Technology of Rehabilitation of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hebei Province were grandly held in Shijiazhuang at 8: 30 am on May 5. At this conference, 29 renowned experts from all over the country and 500 peers gathered to share the academic feast.

The meeting was presided over by Liu Yue, president of Rehabilitation Branch of China Ethnic Medicine Association. The guests included Hu Yongping, deputy director of Hebei Traditional Chinese Medicine Administration, Shi Wenguo, director of Shijiazhuang Traditional Chinese Medicine Administration, Cao Lizhong, president of Guangdong Second Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Guangdong Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine Engineering and Technology), Wang Wenju, president of Shijiazhuang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Liu Yuwei, deputy secretary-general of China Ethnic Medicine Association, Yang Qian, president of Hebei Traditional Chinese Medicine Rehabilitation Association, and Hong Bin, executive deputy general manager of Guangdong Yifang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Participants expressed warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to all colleagues and experts who attended the meeting as scheduled, and encouraged all scholars to actively carry out rehabilitation services, promote appropriate rehabilitation technologies of Chinese and Western medicine, and improve the rehabilitation service capacity of Chinese and Western medicine.

The Rehabilitation Branch of China Ethnic Medicine Association relied on the resource advantages of China Ethnic Medicine Association, the technical strength of national key specialties of traditional Chinese medicine, the provincial rehabilitation associations, and the academic strength of the national rehabilitation community to create a platform for rehabilitation academic exchange with high level, innovative content, effective features and far-reaching influence. This forum and seminar were not only an academic feast to promote and popularize the rehabilitation technology of Chinese medicine, but also a visual feast to promote the development of rehabilitation specialty in China, and an important measure for Chinese medicine to benefit the people!
